Black Milk

 

The story of how Black Milk came to be is an inspiring one. Creator James Lillis found himself broke, cold and in a down right pickle but instead of plunging deep down into tedium he decided to buy a second hand sewing machine and 6 bucks worth of shoddy nylon lining and made his very first shirt – which he adored.

His adventures saw him participate in sewing classes with lovely old ladies, work odd jobs, save every little penny and roam into iddy-biddy dance-wear stores to find the perfectly dazzled material, and it was then that he made & sold his first pair of leggings.

It all paid off in the end from the door-to-door sales pitches to the early morning tents at the markets. Lillis made a decision to sell the label Black Milk exclusively online – and it was the best decision he made.

Black Milk has established itself as one of the best online Aussie labels with a fantastic team of garment creators and a huge community of girls who are extremely passionate about the brand.
